Randilen is a Wildlife Managed Area (WMA) located near Tarangire National Park. A WMA is a land set aside for wildlife conservation which is managed by the village with partnership with the government. In this arrangement, the village gets a percentage of what visitors pay to stay or do a game drive in the area. Randilen is located at the border of Tarangire National Park. The end game drive in this area is quiet, not crowded, and very special. Remember wild animals does not have boarders, and since wildlife management areas are all located at boarders of National Parks, animals are also around these areas.
Staying at Serengeti Green Camp is another way of supporting the environment conservation. All guest rooms and mess areas are built using local Tanzanian trades and making sure that the investment and celebration of skills starts and finishes in our wonderful country.
Interiors have been carefully sourced with help of anthropologists and fresh-to-the-field designers; celebrating cultural groups and encouraging the development of local craftsmanship whilst bringing an innovative interior flair and high-level of comfort.
