It’s covering an area of 3,230 sq km, and located around Morogoro, the Southern part of Tanzania. Mikumi is the forth’s the largest park in Tanzania.

Mikumi National Park is one of the most popular parks in Tanzania for visitors and researchers on ecology and conservation.

Lions, wild dogs, elephant and giraffe make Mikumi a popular destination while sightings of the powerful eland, the world’s largest antelope, make the park unique.

Other animals frequently observed include civet, eland, impala, kudu, reedbuck, buffalo, warthog, waterbuck, wildebeest, zebra, crocodiles, monitor lizard, baboon, hippos, python and over 400 bird species.
